On fact or fiction when asked if a White Sox pitcher would lead the AL in wins Peter Gammons said fiction because the defense on the White Sox is not that good and people like Santana are to good to ignore.  I don’t know what is with Gammons love affair with the Twins but come on now, the White Sox have the best defense in the game.  Check the team stats, the White Sox have the best defensive efficiency rating in baseball, yea that’s bad defense alright.  Just because he thinks the Twins are going to win the World Series doesn’t mean all the people on the White Sox ****.  Hey Peter, if you want to talk **** about the best team in baseball make sure you have stats to back it up, don’t just make random assertions.
